International Workshop on Smart Cities at Alliance Française of Hyderabad (India)
08/11/2022 – 09/11/2022
9:30 am – 5:30 pm
The Alliance Française of Hyderabad, in partnership with Bordeaux Métropole, Sciences Po Bordeaux, Centre Emile Durkheim, and Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, invites you to an online workshop “The Smart City: a digital transformation in terms of governance, habitat & mobilities. A comparative approach Europe / India” on Nov. 8th and 9th, 2022.
The objective of this workshop is to evaluate the digitalisation of Indian cities and its impact on three sectors of the economy: governance, habitat (housing) and mobility. A parallel will be drawn with European cities to capture transformations in urban production and governance, resulting in the digital revolution led by the Smart City utopia.
Therefore, this workshop focuses on studying:
The evolution of daily mobility and transformation of the digital city;
The interactions between different stakeholders in this process of urban digitalisation, in addition to citizen inclusion;
Methodological tools to capture such urban transformation, driven by the digitalisation.
This workshop will be conducted in English and will welcome professionals and experts from both India & Europe.
